Monday's Tips
*** Da Don - 9.28 Nottingham
** Swift Kipper - 8.19 Nottingham
* Shelt Hill Rosie - 8.54 Nottingham
Colwick Park has been a happy hunting ground for Da Don, winning on five of his six visits. He has not been seen in action for six weeks so he might have a little bit of ring rust to knock off with that effort but even though he is not the most natural trapper for a sprinter, his straight line speed is exceptional and he can quickly put this field to the sword.
Swift Kipper had been producing an outstanding run of consistency of late for Terry Munslow, and she can continue that good work with another 480m success tonight. She scored over 500m last Monday night but this slightly shorter four-bend trip is more favourable for her and she can quickly assert her control over this field.
Unlike Da Don, Shelt Hill Rosie is a natural trapper and gave Bockos Buster a bit of a shock here two starts back before getting her head in front in an open last Monday night. The move back up to 305m from 255m will not be an issue for her, looking set to continue her good recent work.
