Newcastle have announced that their All England Cup meeting will be held on a Sunday this year instead of a Saturday to avoid a Premier League clash.

The Coral Gold Collar and George Curtis & Ballyregan Bob Memorial will start on October 25 and be run on three consecutive Sunday afternoons.

There was some smart racing on Sunday with the final of the Produce Stakes at Towcester as well as the opening round of the Star Sports Welsh Derby at Valley.

Saturday night saw the finals of the Premier Greyhound Racing St Leger and Arena Racing Company Birmingham Cup at Dunstall Park.
