1st Aid at Work in fundraising gesture for Derby prize draw
1st Aid at Work have generously donated a £2,500 fund to the prize draw being run during the Star Sports/TRC English Greyhound Derby at Towcester.
Jointly-run by ex-Crayford Deputy Racing Manager and GBGB employee Jamie Norris, along with his father, the company offers first aid courses for all workplaces. They can be tailored to suit different work environments and the firm recently launched their E-learning suite which offers over 100 online courses, from Fire Warden training to business skills.
Tickets, which cost £2 each, can be bought at the track all the way up to the Final night, when the winners will be drawn and announced. Both cash and card donations are welcome, while there will also be a Just Giving page from round two onwards for those enjoying the Derby at home and wish to contribute.
Thanks to a dedicated team of volunteers who will be present for all rounds, there will be fundraising throughout the Derby with all the proceeds going to Greyhound Homing UK’s partner homing centres.
The prizes for the draw are:
- 1st Prize - £1000 Cash
- 2nd Prize - £700 Travel Voucher
- 3rd Prize - £500 Cash
- 4th Prize - £200 Spa Voucher
- 5th Prize - £100 Cash
