2026 East Anglian Derby first round form
The draw for the East Anglian Derby was made on Thursday with the six heats of the first round being contested next Wednesday night at Yarmouth.

Yarmouth received 38 entries for the Click Competitions 80th East Anglian Derby, the draw for which was made on Thursday.
Six heats will be staged over 462m on Wednesday with the annual Category One at the seaside track again worth £15,000 to the winner. Patrick Janssens' Romeo Steel won the event 12 months ago.
Among the entry are last year's finalist Bockos Buster, now in the care of Savva Roberts, John Mullins's former track record holder Swift Depot, fourth in the 2024 running, and Category One winner Romeo Ability, who looks to make it three in a row in the EA Derby for his trainer Patrick Janssens after the successes of Druids Say Go (2024) and Romeo Steel.
