Ante-Post and Tonight's Market Movers- Cheap Sandwiches as low as 7/1 after impressive first round Derby victory

It was a good first night for Irish trainer Graham Holland with three winners, and his Bockos Diamond still heads the top of the betting. Having generally been 9/2 yesterday, he is still available at 9/2 with AK Bets is generally available at 4/1, though is as low as 7/2 with sponsors Star Sports and William Hill.

But, his other two winners Cheap Sandwiches and Val Tashadelek have been shorted significantly in the market following their victories last night.

Cheap Sandwiches, who had been available to back at 12/1 yesterday morning has been shortened into 7/1 with William Hill, but is still an 8/1 with all the other bookmakers after his impressive all the way success in Heat 10 when recording 28.91 (-20) and as a result, is now vying to be second favourite with Proper Heiress, who has remained around the 8/1-9/1 mark having finished runner up last night, though is 10/1 with Boylesports and AK Bets.

Val Tashadelek though is the one that has seen his odds slashed this morning on the back of his fastest of the night victory in 28.81 (-20) in the previous heat, Heat 9. Having been freely available to back at 100/1 this time yesterday afternoon, he is now as short as 33/1 with William Hill, Boylesports and Unibet though 40/1 is still available with most of the Bookmakers.

Holland aside, there have been a few other winners last night who caught the eye with impressive front running displays, not least Droopys Aladdin. Mike Burton’s July 23 youngster trapped well and made all the running from Proper Heiress, and as a result, is now a top priced 40/1 with most of the Bookmakers but is as low as 25/1 with William Hill having generally been an 80/1 shot yesterday, with Unibet a standout 100/1.

Tiffield Tarquin is another who trapped well and made all the running in the second heat for trainer Roy Peckham. He was subject of good support throughout the day for his heat last night, with 15/8 being freely available in the morning, he was sent off as 4/6F and never gave backers a moments worry with a 6 ¾ length victory. As a result he is now a best priced 66/1 with BetMgm, but is generally a 33/1 shot, with William Hill going as low as 22/1.
