Arena Racing Company Laurels & Dunstall Dash

Saturday evening at Dunstall Park will host a pair of finals, the Laurels and the Dunstall Dash. The betting for the Laurels suggests that it is a straight fight between Patrick Janssens's Romeo Steel and Mike Burton's Droopys Aladdin. Aladdin won their clash in the opening round but Steel has the inside line for the final.

5/4 Romeo Steel

6/4 Droopys Aladdin

10/1 Ballymac Blanco, Droopys Trade

20/1 No Better Feelin, Toddys Wolf

The sprint contest sees the market headed by the Stuart Tighe-trained Good Acclaim who has proved very hard to beat in his career to this point. This is the biggest task that he has faced against a Category Two winner in Newinn Souly and a Category One runner-up and track record holder in Swift Hostile.

1/1 Good Acclaim

4/1 Newinn Souly

9/2 Swift Hostile

5/1 Brickhill Tamilka

14/1 Droopys Will

Time Greyhound Nutrition Juvenile

Sunday at Towcester will feature the £5,000 one-off which was one of the races of the year in 2025. There is plenty of recent Catagory One winning form, with Santas Amigo who landed the Premier Greyhound Racing Classic and All England Cup at the backend of 2025 on top of the market.

Arena Racing Company Kent Plate winner Scooby The Lady and Tote Gold Cup winer Coloursaregreen add 2026 top level wins, with BresBet Gymcrack winner Elusivenomore only the price he is on the draw. Romeo Ability made five Cat One finals in 2025 and one already in 2026, and while Swords Style lacks the big race pedigree, his trapping and speed to the bend is breathtaking.

It should be a superb spectacle once more.

5/2 Santas Amigo

11/4 Swords Style

7/2 Scooby The Lady

5/1 Romeo Ability

7/1 Coloursaregreen

25/1 Elusivenomore

Arena Racing Company Grand Prix

The performances in the opening round have made Vhagar an even shorter price to land the Grand Prix. She was the odds-on favourite before the first heat was run and it very much looks like hers to lose at present. She doesn't have the easiest draw in the semis on Friday but she ought to have the class to come through the test.

4/11 Vhagar

9/1 Newinn Cloud

10/1 Jacktavern Lab

14/1 Bombay Nutty, Table Toppers

16/1 Ballymac Sargie

25/1 Bombay Fantasy, Greenwell Bolt

50/1 Zenith Magic

80/1 Droopys Cardi

100/1 Proper Rockett

200/1 Sheilas Sky

Con & Annie Kirby Memorial

It's the semi-final stage this weekend at Limerick for what is always one of the best competitions of the year. The current Star Sports and Orchestrate Ltd English Greyhound Derby ante-post favourite Ballymac Setanta heads the market in a deep field. He went quickest in the quarter-finals last weekend.

There is British interest with Bouncing Monarch who is already a triple Category One finalist for David Fradgely. He was the opening round quickest heat winner with Ballydoyle Tina taking over that mantle in the second round.

Bockos Gold is 4/4 at Limerick and getting quicker with every run and the 2025 Juvenile Derby winner Getup The Boy has bounced back to form in the competition as well.

11/4 Ballymac Setanta

4/1 Bockos Gold

5/1 Ballydoyle Tina

8/1 Bouncing Monarch

12/1 Ballymac Duffle

14/1 Getup The Boy

16/1 Ballycowen Frank, Cushie Flytplan

20/1 Beanos Yank, Waitingforastar

33/1 Jaykay Fly

66/1 Rapido Ivy
