Premier Greyhound Racing All England Cup

Thursday evening at Newcastle is an excellent card to look forward to with the semis of the All England Cup the feature. The betting has it as a three dog affair ahead of the last 18 with that trio of very fluent heat winners all clearly holding strong claims of taking the final all-aged Category One title of the year.

7/4 Slingshot Poppy

4/1 Santas Amigo

11/2 Droopys Bookem

16/1 Unanimous Leon

18/1 Ballymac Lake

20/1 Ballymac Sargie, Toddys Tank

28/1 Saleen Ri

33/1 Droopys Sort, Naochra

40/1 Blackhouse Kim

50/1 Deerjet Rocket

66/1 Ballymac Briar, Crooks Stevie, Fabulous Harmony, Loxleys Forest

80/1 Crooks Coco

Jimmy Wright Future Stars

There has been very little change ahead of the semis of the Future Stars at Newcastle with the same dogs at the head of the market. Strike It Skye was exceptional in her heat, especially as she did not get to the front until off the second bend. She is one of the top bitches in the country already and a competition win here would cement that position.

4/7 Strike It Skye

4/1 Woltemade

8/1 Bouncing Monarch

12/1 Ballymac Shontae

20/1 Crafty Regalo

25/1 Backtoyourbest, Ballymac Service

40/1 Brunssum Bubble, Droopys Anthea, Droopys Link

100/1 Skye The Boss, Swift Despite

BGBF British Bred Derby

There were some shock defeats at Towcester on Sunday which has left King Memphis as a short-priced favourite ahead of the final of the British Bred Derby. He was the clear pick in the semis last weekend and a repeat of that would see him deservedly pick up the Category One final.

8/13 King Memphis

3/1 Romeo Ability

13/2 Venetian Will

20/1 Coppice Lottie

33/1 Aero Borris, Spiridon Zelus

bet365 Puppy Oaks

The Puppy Oaks has the honour of being the final Category One that will be decided in Britain this year, with the final on December 28. The field has some cracking unexposed types in, and however the competition unravels later on this month, it is going to produce a string of cracking bitches to keep onside in 2026.

7/2 Soapy Suds

4/1 Baroness Velvet

7/1 Bonus Bullet

8/1 Bikini Bullet

12/1 Scooby Diamond

14/1 Dunquin Simone, The Other Winx

16/1 Bombshell Bullet, Headford Lily

25/1 Aero Leg It, Beaming Carly

33/1 Distant Dahlia, Rapido Spy, Sams Magic

40/1 Havana Jetstream

50/1 Droopys Tiffany, Java Joan

66/1 Rapido Louise

Arena Racing Company National Sprint

Shadow Storm already has the Arc Scurry and Time Sprint trophies in the cabinet and is the odds-on favourite to add a third Category Two title of the year on Monday at Nottingham. The final will only be the 11th race of his career, packing a remarkable amount into such a short period of time.

8/11 Shadow Storm

5/1 Bockos Buster

6/1 Broadway Murty

10/1 Bower Sheeran

12/1 Pro Parker

16/1 Ballybough Nutz

Bernard Barry Christmas Oaks

There is an exceptional field of bitches lining up in the semis of the Christmas Oaks at Shelbourne this weekend. The first four in the betting will all believe that they are more than capable of landing this prize, hopefully the right girls progress and give us a final to remember to close out 2025.

2/1 Ballydoyle Tina

5/2 Magical On Fire

5/1 Silverhill Freya

8/1 A Lucky Julie

12/1 Lone Calling

14/1 Singalong Polly

20/1 Magical Hope, Rural Ana

25/1 Brockagh Justine

40/1 Aghadown Flight

66/1 Burgess Hazel

100/1 Templeville Meg

Eric Browne Memorial Kingdom Derby

The winner of the Kingdom Derby last year - Ballymac Briar - is in action in the semis of the Premier Greyhound Racing All England Cup this time around. Solo And Go heads the market, runner-up in the Irish Laurels at Cork in November, he bids to go one place better this Friday night.

5/4 Solo And Go

3/1 Crossfield Matt

5/1 Crossfield Dean. Magical Keith

11/2 Ballymac Tibet

12/1 Crossfield Roman
