Following on from a thrilling night’s action at Dunstall Park on Friday, October 10 in the second-round heats of the PGR Oaks, let’s take a look at the draw for the semi-finals which will take place on Friday, October 17 and how the markets have moved. 



Strike It Skye trained by Mark Wallis is the outright favourite for the PGR Oaks at 3s following the elimination of Droopys Kathleen in the second-round heats. Fabulous Aria is next in at 7s (Unibet) with Meenagh Minsk a 15/2 chance with Sheffield-based bookmaker BresBet. Raebella Bullet, trained by Belinda Green, is a general 8s chance with Avongate Venus next in at 12s with Betfred. 


As ever, it’s imperative to shop around for the best prices on offer. Avongate Venus, for example, is 8s with bet365 yet 12s elsewhere. Of those at fancy prices, Kilwest Diva is 25s with Ladbrokes but 40s with Skybet and Paddy Power.

Arena Racing Company Scurry betting update


The sprinters take centre stage at Dunstall Park this evening with three semi-finals of the ARC Scurry scheduled for 7.06, 7.22 and 7.39 with two from each heat qualifying for the Category Two final which will take place on Friday, October 24.


Shadow Storm is the outright favourite with the bookmakers at a general 7/4, while BresBet are standout at 15/8. Next in is Kent Silver Salver winner Rioja Oisin at 4s with Ballinakill Liam at 9s with William Hill. Salacres Senan is a 12s chance with BresBet, with Jazzy George the same price with bet365, William Hill and Skybet. If you fancy Longacres Lad, head to BresBet for the 16s on offer. The Monmore raider is only 10s with William Hill and a general 12 and 14 chance.


 

Get down to the Wolverhampton venue, Dunstall Park, on Friday, October 17, for some high-speed action as some of the top two-bend performers clash on what is sure to be a thrilling night's action.
