Betting update – Sr Transport Rose Bowl and Untold Racing Stewards Cup
Following on from the first-round heats of the Category Two Sr Transport Rose Bowl and Untold Racing Stewards Cup at Star Pelaw, let’s take a look at the outright betting market for both competitions, draw for the semi-finals and details about the finals night.
The Sr Transport Rose Bowl semi-final draw can be seen below:
Outright betting is available with Star Sports:
Sunnyside Jayden 9/4, Sunnyside Gurkha 5/2, Barnfield Duke 5, Dreamin Porcha 5, Bogger Darling 8, Hillside Lily 10, Trooper Mcevoy 16, Unanimous Kai 20, Tease Me 33, Toonrlee 33, Moolah 40.
Sunnyside Jayden is a worthy favourite in the outright market following his impressive first round win in 25.71 when making all following a smart 5.43 sectional. Drawn in T4 in the second semi-final at 8.16 on Sunday evening, Jayden will need to bring his trapping boots to avoid a bump off Barnfield Duke in T3 who can also show plenty of pace into the corner. Dreamin Porcha looks well in T1 and could attract support at 5s outright.
The first semi-final of the Sr Transport Rose Bowl at 7.58 will see outright second favourite Sunnyside Gurkha line up from T4. The Newcastle raider is capable of winning this from the front or, if turning handy, the key is avoiding a bump at the first bend. Hillside Lily in T1 has a nice draw to work from and could be a spot of value at 10s outright.
The final of the Category Two Sr Transport Rose Bowl will take place on Saturday, October 18, with £3000 on offer to the winner.
The draw for the six-bend 590m Untold Racing Stewards Cup semi-finals can be viewed below.
Star Sports have priced up the event so let’s take a look at the outright betting market.

Emilys Superstar bolted up in the first-round heats, winning by four lengths in a track record 35.62 run over the 590-metre trip. The Glenn Foot-trained Doncaster raider looks well-drawn in the second semi-final on Sunday, October 12 at 8.52 in T3 and, granted a clear run, she can book her place in the final. The first semi-final at 8.34 looks wide open with Killieford Goram in T2 and No Brakes in T1 likely to battle it out early on. Clona Curly will be staying on well from T4 looking to grab a qualifying spot for the final, as will lightly raced Newcastle raider Troy Robbo from T3.
The final of the Category Two Untold Racing Stewards Cup will take place on Saturday, October 18 with £3000 on offer to the winner and £4000 in total up for grabs.
