Bombay Pat, who reached the final of the StarSports/TRC Greyhound Derby at Towcester in June, has been lined up for a tilt at the Premier Greyhound Racing Kent Derby at Central Park

Fresh from their success with Silverhill Freya, who landed the final of the £10,000 Bet365 Empress Stakes at Towcester on Sunday, the Graham Holland kennel have their eyes set on more Category One success in the UK as Bombay Pay looks set to line up in the Premier Greyhound Racing Kent Derby at Central Park, which starts next Saturday October 4.

Bombay Pat made a surprise exit from the BOYLE Sports Irish Derby at the third round stage. Having been sent of the 30/100F, trouble in running eventually saw him finishing fourth behind Liam Dowling's Ballymac Stud, but he moved well enough in a trial at Central Park on Saturday, recording 29.21 (-20) and Rachel Holland, daughter of Graham, this morning confirmed that all being well, that Central Park is firmly on the agenda

"He is running at Shelbourne Park on Saturday as part of the Irish Derby card, and all being well, we will go from there, but he would be the only one from the kennel heading to Central Park"
