BOYLE Sports back in for Lifford Oaks
New three-year deal announced for upcoming bitches' event
€15,000 prize up for grabs at Northwest venue
BOYLE Sports has announced a new three-year deal to sponsor the Lifford Oaks.
The deal, extending the firm's support of the competition in recent years, represents "a significant boost for one of the standout fixtures in the Irish greyhound racing calendar, with the Lifford Oaks always attracting strong interest from across Ireland".
The event is for 24 bitches over 525yd with heats at the Co. Donegal stadium on Saturday, October 24, and the €15,000 final on Saturday, November 7.
Liam McKee of Irish Derby sponsors BOYLE Sports said: “This latest commitment underlines our ongoing support of greyhound racing in Ireland and reinforces our investment in the key events and venues in the country.
"We are thrilled to be on board at Lifford and needless to say we are looking forward to another competitive renewal this year.”
Lifford Stadium general manager Colm McGee welcomed the announcement, commenting: “This will be great news for greyhound enthusiasts in the Northwest and is sure to be well received by all.
