Cahill and Rees with Hove trebles on Thursday
Nine open races at Hove on Thursday night were won by just four trainers.

Three trainers with multiple winners on Thursday night at Hove
Churchfield Syd running in the quarter-finals of the Star Sports and TRC English Greyhound Derby will be the ultimate focus of the Richard Rees team this week. The kennel head to Towcester with confidence high after a treble of open race winners on Thursday night and a graded winner for good measure.
Texas Jack was a solid performer in Ireland, a pair of wins at both Enniscorthy and Kilkenny. He made a striking UK debut for Rees last night with a 29.20 success, coming clear by five and a half lengths. The other two winners for Rees came from Clona Kody and Avarua Flight.
Not to be outdone, Seamus Cahill also picked up an open race treble with a graded success as well. The pick of those was Moving Force who dipped under 30 seconds with his 515m success. Cahill also picked up both 695m contests on the night with Harlequin Beauty and Push Your Luck.
Nathan Hunt also got into the act with a double on the card himself. Gerwyn Price fell to Luke Littler in the Premier League Darts but his Icemans Girl will have put a smile on his face with a quickest of the night, 29.17. Just four dogs this year have gone quicker. Hunt kicked his double off with Mad For Cash, a three-quarter brother to Mad For Stirling who was making just his second career start.
It was Maxine Locke who won the other open on the card. Droopys Jiver was the longest priced winner of the night, his early pace getting him clear of the trouble at the opening bend, gaining enough of a lead to hold off the challengers.
