The 79th East Anglian Greyhound Derby sponsored by Click Competitions gets underway on Wednesday, September 3 with the final scheduled for Wednesday, September 17 with £15,000 up for grabs.
The prestigious Category One competition is held annually over the four-bend 462-metre trip at Yarmouth and is one of the highlights of the greyhound racing calendar. Each year the competition attracts top-tier four-bend performers and a vibrant crowd.

The event was inaugurated in 1947. It was first run under NGRC rules in 1975 and the competition has grown in popularity over the years and is now worth £15,000 to the winner. Over the years, Betfair, Ladbrokes, Totepool, Sunbets, Racing Post Greyhound TV and Bresbet have all sponsored the Category One event.
Notable winners include Fear Zafonic in 2009 and 2010, Roxholme Nidge in 2019 and Druids Say Go last year at 4/6 for trainer Patrick Janssens.

Ante post betting is available with all major bookmakers, with Romeo Steel heading the market at 6/4 with Ladbrokes and Coral following his flying 27.30 trial over course and distance earlier this month. Kennelmate of the favourite Not So Steady is next in at 9/2 with Patrick Janssens holding a strong hand in the competition. Brindle Bully and Bockos Buster are both general 10s chances with Tiffield Tarquin next in at 12s. It's then 20s bar.
