There was strong trade to report about during the recent Greyhound Trader online auction. James Corden provides an update on the greyhounds that were sold and those that are still available having not reached their reserve price
Topping the sales was Tullig Navalny who sold for £4350. A recent 28.26 winner at Tralee, Navalny has been sold to stay in Ireland with Martin Lanney and could be put forward for the upcoming BoyleSports Irish Greyhound Derby.
Recent Youghal debut winner Eddie Spaghetti made a respectable £4000 and will be joining the kennels of Shaun Gresham at Swindon. A promising October 2023 son of Grangeview Ten, it will be interesting to see how he progresses in the UK.
Daring Rambo sold for £3250 to Stuart Maplesdon at Hove whilst recent Clonmel winner The Other Gigi made £3050 and will add firepower to Gary Beadle’s team.
In all, 8 of the 21 greyhounds sold (38%) for a total of £22,800.
