Flying Towcester trial from Droopys Plunge on the comeback trail
Sunday afternoon at Towcester saw a trial before racing from Droopys Plunge. His time suggested that all is going well on his road back to racing with Nottingham's Eclipse mentioned.

Droopys Plunge is almost ready for a sensational comeback.
The 2025 Star Sports English Derby hero posted a rapid 28.83sec (-20) in a solo trial before racing at Towcester on Sunday.
Last seen at Hove back in November when runner-up to Maxine Locke's Ballymac Blanco in the Gold Collar Consolation, Droopys Plunge could now have the Premier Greyhound Racing Eclipse at Nottingham as a target.
A hock injury threatened his career and forced connections to miss a Derby defence at Towcester in June, but patience has so far proved a virtue.
"We've certainly given him plenty of time and that was the right thing to do," said trainer Janssens.
"It's always been a case of any doubts and we'd call time but he's been bouncing and is still only three years old - with not that many miles on the clock.
"As with all his trials, we'll see how he comes out of it - so far, so good - and then we'll have a plan around Nottingham.
"We were delighted with how Romeo Tomcat ran in the Select Stakes there and he was finishing better than anything. He'll also be heading to the Eclipse down the line, but it'd be great to have Plunge along for the ride too!"
