Tight-knit betting for the Doncaster Puppy Derby

Doncaster start their Puppy Derby on Saturday evening as part of a bumper 16-race card, with £10,000 to the winner up for grabs on October 31.

There has been plenty of interest from outside trainers with the likes of Kevin Hutton, David Mullins and Tom Heilbron fielding a team as well as those like Craig Morris and Michelle Brown who have been supporting the opens at the track on a weekly basis.

It is a shame that at the time of writing on Friday afternoon that it appears to be only bet365 who have priced up the event, making four of the puppies co-favourites at 11/2, and nine of the field at 10/1 or shorter.
