Friday Night Report - Romford and Sunderland

Romford Doubles for Evans, Hunt and Wiley

The sub 13.50 times continue to mount up in sprints at London Road. Last night it was 20/1 outsider Dreamin Faith who landed a shock success at 20/1 for Nathan Hunt in 13.42. Hunt's other winner was the more punter friendly Untold Paanga who made it four wins in his last six starts over 575m.

Gemma Evans and Martyn Wiley split the last four races between them. Evans took the pair of 575m contests with Dower Duchess and Move Over Cian while Wiley picked up the two 400m races with Alan The First and Rising Rainbow.

It was a win for the fourth consecutive Friday for Dave Lee's Grove Patrick. He has really found his groove in that time which is a similar story to Out The Blue for Maxine Locke who was winning for a third straight start. Stepping up in distance has been the making of the July 23 whelp. Quinton Boy won the other open on the night for Paul Young.

Just two opens on the Sunderland card

Although there was only a pair of opens at Sunderland, they were won by Lion Heart for Carl Jackson and Madabout Peck for tomorrow Heilbron. The former made the semi-final stage of three Cat One events last year while the latter made the final of the Pall Mall last summer and has already contested the Golden Sprint decider this year.
