The prices at Sunderland are a little bit too short with the likes of Vhagar and Slingshot Poppy there, so we head to Romford's card for our three selections.

*** Gav Nificent - 8.53 Romford
** False Strap - 7.33 Romford
* Tally Ho Socks - 9.33 Romford
There has been a very impressive start to the career of Gav Nificent, the winner of two of his three starts in very smart times for one with so little experience. A repeat of those in the final of the JR Racing Puppy Cup final would make him the one that they all have to beat.
Things didn't go to plan for False Strap on his race debut here last week in a JR Racing Puppy Cup heat that was filled with trouble. He produced a smart trial prior to that which came via a much slicker exit than he managed last week. If he can produce that sort of trapping again, a much bolder show is coming.
Although Tally Ho Socks was behind the re-opposing Mahoonagh Hoffa last week, he will be happier with the draw as the sole railer while his rival who was half a length in front of him last week is in two when he was in five last week. The selection is not expected to be seen early but he can use his position as the sole railer to good effect late on.
