It's Coral 100 Champion Stakes final night at Romford with some strong support action featuring a string of familiar Friday night names.

The final of the Category One Coral 100 Champion Stakes is the feature of the card at Romford this evening and it looks a great opportunity for Grouchos Gregor to claim his first win at the top level, and give Kelly Wilton a third Category One win in her first year with a license. He has the early gears to lead up those on either side of him and that can see him away and gone to lead home his kennelmate Fortanach Col who has won Wilton's other two.
There are a couple of really progressive types around Romford at the moment and one of the most improved is Dave Lee's Ontherun Jamie. He was an A5 winner here in July, but it was not until he was knocked out of the Puppy Cup that the lightbulb has gone on. He has won five of his six starts since that day with some flying early pace. He took his biggest scalp so far last week in Guys & Dolls finalist Headford Sarah, facing another tonight in Piemans Goalie.
Stormy Pat is a very different dog when he gets the chance to get on the bunny and this evening with two slower starter than him to his left, it looks a great opportunity. Katie O'Flaherty had a pair of open winners on Wednesday to suggest the kennel is in good form and any trouble between the inside pair can see this lad go clear around the outside.
