Friday's Greyhound Racing Tips - 24 July 2026
It's a Friday night, so we are off to Dunstall Park and Romford for a look over their open class action for our three selections for this evening's racing.
Friday's Tips
It is the centenary celebration meeting at Dunstall Park this evening with six races on the slate. Things kick off with a spectacular puppy contest where Betway Juvenile Classic one-two, Arthur Bitter and Annadown Warrior meet once more, taking on Magical Jason who was produced an eye-popping UK debut last week in a sprint at the track.
Mark Wallis will be hopeful of a couple of winners with both Vhagar and Strike It Skye holding very strong chances in their respective contests, though neither will be as short in the betting as Paul Young's Droopys Rated who continues on his quest to take marathon track records around the country.
Signet Nayla was another to win in stunning fashion last week for Kevin Hutton and she will be favourite for the British Bred contest. She has plenty of early pace to clear inside her, but she is a very capable sort.
Arguably the most competitive race on the card is the sprint where early prices show 5/2. the field with 6/1 the biggest price. A case can be made for all six runners in an excellent contest.
Romford
*** Brindle Bully - 9.02 Romford
** Mad For Cash - 10.20 Romford
* Bombay Buck - 8.42 Romford
There has been a stunning resurgence of late from Brindle Bully, winning his last two starts. He looks to have another outstanding opportunity this evening to make it a hat-trick of victories with a vacant trap inside of him to give him plenty of room, and a repeat of his most recent times is going to make him very hard to stop.
Trap four is a wider draw than is ideal for Mad For Cash, but she has the skills to overcome this difficult starting position. She won from the four box back in March, and the early pace that she showed in a recent win two starts back suggests that she is going to be fine here, without masses of early to clear. She can do it from behind anyway, and should get another win added to her exceptional record.
After a couple of wins in May and June it has been a little bit of a dry spell for Bombay Buck, but connections will be happy that he does not have to face Brindle Bully this week. He has four railers inside of him so a level break should be all that he needs to get to the opening bend in front, avoiding any potential crowding on his inside, to get himself back on the scoresheet.
