The return to Romford has been the fillip that Nightingale Crew required to get his head back in front, winning on his last two visits to the London Road venue. That makes his record here five wins from six visits and a perfect 4/4 when he has sported the white jacket as he does tonight. He can add another success to that excellent record having beaten three of these re-opposing rivals in recent weeks.

Things didn't go right for Bombay Buck last time when back over 400m but the Golden Sprint winner is well deserving of another chance this evening. A 3.76 split was slower than his last seven tries over this trip and a step back in the right direction from the boxes can make all the difference to him.

There is an interesting maiden stayers at 7.53 where Gothic Abbess may prove a spot of value against the favourite Izzys Tenpin. She moved well in a recent sprint trial and is entitled to come on for that first look around, especially back on a sharp six bends having been so impressive when clocking a very quick time at Suffolk Downs the last time she ran over a similar track and trip.
