It is the start of the Coral Romford Puppy Cup this evening at Romford. We have two tips from the six heats as well as a selection from the card at Sunderland.

Darcys Dude went out of the Arena Racing Company Puppy Classic in the opening round at Nottingham but the time that he put up on his first look at this venue suggests that situation will not befall him here. A 23.66 for a pup on their first time at Romford is hugely eye-catching, so it is no surprise that he finds himself at the sharp end of the ante-post market for this contest.
One that might be a slightly bigger price, and who also represents the red-hot kennel of Craig Morris is March On Millie. She was spectacular on her first run at this track back in May when stopping the clock in 23.79. She lacks a more recent look but she is a bitch with a lot of natural ability and that might just be enough to see her through.
Up at Sunderland there is a cracking standard contest at 7.03. Glenn Foot has Droopys Orator in sparkling form, winning both of his starts so far for the kennel. He has the early gears to get to the opening bend in front this evening, and on his two wins at this venue, it will then take a big run from one of his opponents to pick him up again.
