*** GOTHIC KITTY (T6, 8.36 Romford)

** NEWINN SOULY (T2, 8.54 Romford)

* GARY THE ARB (T2, 9.11 Romford)

Gothic Kitty rates as the nap of the day when the Michelle Brown-trained middle seed lines up from T6 in the Maurice Newman Memorial final at Romford over the eight-bend 750-metre trip. Last week, in the heats of this competition, Kitty led round but was picked up late on and clocked 47.79. In recent weeks she’s gone much quicker over course and distance, and a line can be put through that run. If Kitty is back to her best, she can lead round and make all this evening. Bacardi Bullet will be staying on well from T3 and could be worth including in forecast bets.

The Category Two Coral Guys And Dolls final at 8.54 looks ultra-competitive with plenty in with chances. All eyes will be on the break with Newinn Souly, Ted On Fire (T5) and Brindle Bully (T6) all more than capable of leading round and making all. At the prices on offer Newinn Souly appeals from T2. The Kim Billingham-Hine-trained Monmore raider has clocked 23.74 on the bunny over course and distance, a repeat of that would see him take this.

The Category One Premier Greyhound Racing Champion Stake final at 9.11 over the six-bend 575-metre trip at the London Road venue Romford looks wide open and this race will hinge on the break and run into the first corner. At 3s Gary The Arb appeals from T2. If the Belinda Green-trained Hove raider gets it right at the boxes, he can lead round and make all. Kennelmates New Destiny (T1) and Fabulous Sonique (T3) rate as huge dangers.
