Greyhoundtrader.com host their next sales auction at Oxford on Wednesday 15th October.

Doors open at 9am with trials commencing at 10am and the full sales catalogue can be found here.

As usual, there is a good mixture of greyhounds of all ability – from race winners to complete novice puppies. There are 48 greyhounds set to trial, with seven reserves.

There will no doubt be plenty of interest in the five dogs with the famous Droopys prefix on display, and three of them are the joint-youngest of the sale.

In Trial 6, Droopys Oblige, an August 24 son of Shima Shine and Queen Lilly, goes up against fellow unraced August 24 whelp Droopys Lara, who is out of Droopys Got It and Droopys Gong.

Trial 19 sees Droopys Lara’s litter brother, Droopys Spare, pitted against Droopys Cassia, a June 24 daughter of Dromana Bucko and Droopys Limini. Neither runner has a mark on their card.

The only one of the Droopys quintet with form in the book is March 24 whelp Droopys Samara (Ballyhimikin Jet x Cornetto), who finished third in the first round of an unraced stake at Enniscorthy recently.

Clona Chief (Ballymac Best x Hello Graciebabe) made the second round of that event at Enniscorthy and will be looking to put his experience to good use in Trial 4.
