Hutton set to start the engine again on Friday
Kevin Hutton's hugely prolific Oxford winner Start The Engine is set to trial at the track on Friday as he returns from time off following a couple of niggles.

Hutton set to relaunch his win machine
A greyhound on a winning streak makes his return to the fray in a trial at Oxford on Friday.
Start The Engine, who has won his last 11 starts, all at the Cowley venue, last raced in December but a couple of small setbacks saw his trainer Kevin Hutton rest him ahead of this belated start to the year.
Hutton explained: "There's been nothing major with him, just a couple of niggles with his quads and hamstring. We felt he was due a rest anyway, so just gave him more than enough time. It'll be good to see him back."
The prolific-scoring May 2023 son of Ballymac Cashout and Ballymac Trudi has been kept exclusively to Oxford since arriving at Hutton’s Burford kennels last year - racking up no less than 18 wins from 20 starts.
A crack at the recent Winter Derby at Monmore had been considered as a target for Start The Engine at the backend of last year, which would have been his first race away from Oxford.
However, following the rest, Hutton has said trial work and "a few one-offs to gain fitness, then we'll play it by ear," will be the plan. Start The Engine was unraced in Ireland and purchased off the back of a Cork sprint trial.
