International Greyhound Services Limited Hove Monday 15th September- Individual Previews

The International Greyhound Services team head to Hove stadium on Monday 15th September 2025 for their ‘Summer Sale’ and it looks like being another hugely exciting and successful day.  Each greyhound due to trial has been previewed and can be found below

 Gates will open at 9.30am with trials set to commence at 10.30am.  Food and drink will be available throughout the day to all those in attendance.  The auction will get underway around 30 minutes after the completion of the final trial and with some hugely exciting unraced puppy prospects on offer and a number of more experienced greyhounds from graded to proven open class there really is something for everybody. 

 If you can get to the track to view the greyhounds in action but if not the usual online bidding service will be available alongside the live streaming of trials on You Tube.

PLEASE SALLY – December 2023 daughter of Calloway Pro Am and Please Poppy an older sister to Bushpark Mel who competed in this years Corks Oaks Final.  Sally has just the three races on her card winning the last two of those in super fashion in 2962 and a much improved 2938 around Clonmel.  Very much heading in the right direction and with so much more to come this young lady has to have a career in the high grades at least and potentially even in open class.

PLEASE MOLLY – Unraced full sister to Sally detailed above and very interesting to note that in her first four bend qualifying trial she posted 3013 at Thurles compared to a first qualifying trial of 3045 posted by Sally around Kilkenny.  Given the progress of Sally since it’s far from inconceivable that this bitch will improve out of all recognition over the next month or two.

SPORTING AURORA – Very lightly raced June 2024 daughter of King Sheeran and Sporting Riviera a strong running open class lady who reached the final of the Munster Oaks back in 2019.  Well proven herself as a dam of open and top grade performers since retiring and though Aurora is yet to get off the mark in her three starts she’s very much looked in need of the experience and therefore her debut clock of 2917 around Tralee gives plenty of hope that this lady has a future in the high grades at a minimum.

SPORTING ARIEL – Full sister to Aurora and similarly just the three races under her belt thus far and plenty of improvement to come.  Posted 2960 around Tralee on debut so definitely has ability.

NEWINN GINGER – Lightly raced August 2023 son of Ballyhimikin Jet and Ballymac Cloud a strong running open class performer here in the UK who has produced some nice open class offspring in her litters thus far.  Ginger won on debut around Kilkenny in 2906 but has since found life a little tough in against some decent types.  That said he’s still posted some decent clocks showcasing a great attitude in behind and most recently showed himself in good form with a 2923 trial around Kilkenny.  Should be well suited by the galloping nature of sales venue Hove.

NEWINN COOPER – August 2023 son of Coolavanny Hoffa and Newinn Lisa with just the one races under his belt where he was obviously very much in need of the experience.  Posted 2963 in a Kilkenny trial last time out and this 78lb dog can only improve.  Litter mates already posting open class times.

DROOPYS EXOTIC – Unraced July 2024 daughter of Droopys Addition and Droopys Alyssa who hails from the Droopys Berry dam line.  Has been showing up well in her schooling trials for the Droopys team thus far and hopes are high that this lady can go on to big things for her new connections here in the UK.

DROOPYS DOLPHIN – Full sister to Exotic and also arrives from the famed Droopys team without a mark on her card.  A young lady with her whole career ahead of her who has been reared and schooled to the usual impeccable standards expected from one of the leading outfits in the sport.  Will be in high demand on sales day that much is certain.

TROMORA SPICE – Lightly raced March 2024 daughter of Ballymac Cashout and Coolavanny Palm a strong running open class performer on the track.  Spice is yet to win in four starts but has been noted doing some strong late running suggesting she may well not come into her own until stepped up in trip.

WEE BABS – Experienced May 2023 daughter of Burgess Bucks and Be The Best who is a middle to wide runner and already a three time winner on Irish soil.  Currently competing in A4 grade this is a proven winner who will arrive fit and ready to get straight into action.

RAPIDO TINNY – Not a mark on the card of this May 2024 daughter of Dorotas Wildcat and Spooks Me who hails from the Palermo dam line and is a full sister to Mr Chelm (ex – Kildare) runner up in the English Derby Final of 2022 and winner of the Michael Fortune Memorial Derby Plate Final later that year around Shelbourne.  Totally unexposed and sales day trial will be of great interest.

RAPIDO JIMMY – Totally unexposed July 2024 dog pup by Deerjet Sydney out of Scooter who is a well proven producer of open class performers.  This stunning white and black dog has his whole career ahead of him and looks to possess plenty of ability based on his schooling trials to date.

BALLINVEALA BOLT (EX – OUTDOOR APOLLO) – August 2023 son of Magical Bale and Outdoor Roller he’s already a three time winner on Irish soil in top class times of 2889 , 2856 and 2846 around Clonmel.  One for the top grade / open class divisions of that there is little doubt.

ANNUAL VERSE – July 2023 son of Newinn Taylor and Avondale Coco who landed a nice touch when winning over 550 yards at Cork in a very decent time of 2999.  Strong runner and should be well suited by the galloping circuit of Hove.

BEAMING CARLY – April 2024 daughter of Deerjet Sydney and Beaming Boomerang who was an open class performer over six bends and judging on the debut performance of Carly it could well be that she’s heading the same way.  Flying from traps Carly maybe got a little lost at the bend and lost the lead but after finishing a good runner up in a decent 2912 at Limerick this bitch was back in front and moving well to the pick up.  Exciting type and should be on many lists as a prospective purchase.

JASMINE COCO – November 2023 daughter of Ballyhimikin Jet and Wishful Ali who is a two time race winner in Ireland with come from behind wins in 2932 and 2919 on the card at Galway.  Decent type who knows her job and should be competing in the mid to higher grades here in the UK.

CROSSFIELD ALAN – Member of a very promising litter indeed Alan is a product of the May 2024 litter of Dromana Bucko and Crossfield Feena who is now a well proven producer of open class performers.  On the track in her lightly raced career Feena reached the final of the National Puppy at Shelbourne Park in 2020 and the following year reached the final of the Tralee Race Of Champions.  It should come as no surprise that she has passed on plenty of that ability to her pups with Crossfield Enzo from her maiden litter a winner of opens here in the UK at Towcester , Perry Barr , Monmore , Central Park and Oxford.  Reaching the final of the Pall Mall at the last of those venues in July this year recording the fastest time of the first round before somewhat unluckily being eliminated in third place at the semi final stage.  Pups from this dam improve over time so hopes for this current crop are high given that they have already put up some terrific times in schooling trials.  Hailing from the Crossfield set up of Brendan O’Shea this very much is a litter going places and all four of them being made available at Hove will be in high demand.  They’ll not be going anywhere cheaply that’s for certain but quality performers never do.

CROSSFIELD TOBY – Full brother to Alan detailed above and a similarly promising pup with a very bright future ahead of him.

ASHWOOD ANN – April 2024 daughter of Links Maverick and Mustang Markle.  Moderate grader on all evidence so far but will pay her way and may improve through a few grades with a little more experience.

MUSTANG MAVERICK – Full brother to Ann detailed above and this unraced pup looks a cut above his sister based on the 2949 recorded around Clonmel in what is so far the only mark on his card.  That’s a decent starting point for a young pup and at this stage falls firmly into the ‘could be anything’ category.

BALLYHIMIKIN PAT – Unraced November 2023 son of Ballyhimikin Jet and Ballyhimikin Pip an open class lady who finished runner up in the Munster Oaks of 2021.  Maiden litter to Ballymac Bolger produced some decent strong running sorts and the word is this second litter are a class above.

BALLYHIMIKIN JOE – Not a mark on the card of Joe who is a full brother to Pat detailed above.  Schooling trials have been promising and should be well suited by the galloping nature of sales venue Hove.

DEELISH JAMIE – October 2023 son of Ballymac Bolger and Crafty Jayko who was an open class bitch on the track and this her maiden litter have already been performing and indeed winning at a decent level.  Jamie is yet to get off the mark but has been running consistently well posting some decent times including 2939 around Shelbourne Park.  Solid wide running grader who could benefit massively for a change of scenery and a fresh start here in the UK.

DEELISH SALLY – May 2024 daughter of Deerjet Sydney and Deelish Belle who will improve massively over the coming months.  Ignore the 3044 recorded in what is so far the only trial on her card around Cork she got no run at all in that and has many lengths to find.

EASY GUNNER – June 2024 son of Ballymac Best and Jumeirah Zena who was an open class winning bitch on the track and has been producing similar sorts in her litters to date.  So young and inexperienced this promising pup hails from the highly regarded Barry Rocks set up who time and time again provide quality greyhounds to the UK market.

HAVANA BELLE – Unraced June 2024 bitch by Links Maverick out of Foxwood Diva who recorded a fabulous 2857 around Galway in just the fourth race of her life before injury ended her racing career early.  Was destined for a career at the very highest level of the sport that much is for certain.  This is her maiden litter and reports from back home suggest that they possess plenty of their mothers pace.  Hugely interesting sort.

RAPIDO CONTI – Unraced member of the July 2024 Deerjet Sydney x Scooter litter.  So young and difficult to say quite how far he can go but schooling reports have been pleasing.  Sales day trial will be informative.

RAPIDO DESIGN – April 2024 son of Grangeview Ten and Chelms Ramona an open class bitch who reached the final of the Munster Oaks in 2023.  This is her maiden litter and they look an above average group with the 2898 trial of Design around Waterford at the end of August which is so far the only mark on his card marking him out as an open / competition class prospect.  Will be many eyes on this lad that’s for certain and unlikely he’ll be bought cheaply but the potential is clear to see.

CLONBRIEN KING – Unraced November 2023 son of Ballymac Cashout and Clonbrien Millie who is well proven in the breeding paddocks counting amongst others the sensational Clonbrien Treaty winner of the Kirby Memorial and Irish St Leger in 2023 as well as the Easter Cup and again the Irish St Leger in 2024.  King was noted running on strongly when winning just the second four bend trial of his life around Limerick recently in 2904 so the ability is definitely there and should find Hove and other galloping tracks much to his liking.

ADMIRAL BLUFFER – Despite taking a false step leaving the traps on debut this September 2023 son of Serene Ace and Hollyhill Annie showed super early pace to soon take command.  Just caught near the line but there was much to like about the performance and will not be long winning that’s for sure.  Posted 2913 that day so very much destined for a career in the higher grades as a minimum.

BALLINABOLA ESME – Unraced May 2024 daughter of Deerjet Sydney and Ballinabola Evie who is an open class daughter of Dolls Lady and a full sister to the esteemed Ballinabola Ed.  Maiden litter to Glengar Bale were a very pacey bunch and this lady has been showing plenty of promise during her early schooling trials.

BEAMING MOSCATO – Not a mark on the card of this June 2024 daughter of King Sheeran and Beaming Shiraz who is a daughter of the competition class producing dam Beaming Olive and herself reached open class.  Litters to date have produced plenty of high grade and minor open class types and reports suggest Moscato could end up in the same kind of sphere.

MUSTANG TORY – Unraced January 2024 daughter of Dromana Bucko out of Tory Aria who looks an open / competition class prospect.  Posted a fantastic 2877 around Shelbourne Park in what was just the second official trial of her life and that’s a run which will make many take note.  Interesting to see how she performs on sale day but looks one that many will be keen to secure.

MUSTANG MIAMAR – Unraced bitch from the April 2024 litter of Links Maverick and Mustang Marvel.  Just the sole trial on her card posting 2970 around Clonmel and though she’ll do well to live with her sales day trial rival she should more than pay her way on the UK graded scene with plenty of improvement left in the locker for new connections.

RAPIDO BENJI – Unraced May 2024 dog pup from the litter of Dorotas Wildcat and Spooks Me.  Benji looks a real nice type having posted 2894 around Waterford in what is thus far the only mark on his card.  Undoubtedly a youngster of immense promise.

RAPIDO TINY – Full sister to Benji detailed above and beaten off 8 lengths in that aforementioned Waterford trial by her sibling.  Likely to again come off second best on sales day but no doubt she will more than pay her way on the UK graded scene with plenty of improvement to come.

HILLCROFT MICK – May 2023 son of Coolavanny Hoffa and Town Curly an open class bitch who has been throwing high grade sorts in her litters to date.  Mick is a two time race winner showcasing plenty of early and middle pace on way to a 2927 victory around Lifford at the end of May and had previously come from behind to win around the same venue so can do it both ways.

SNAZZY MARY – Lightly raced September 2023 daughter of Zero Ten and Mary The Thief who has yet to win in her short career to date but shown ability including when posting 2921 around Enniscorthy.  With experience now under her belt and a new start here in the UK she should really kick on and that maiden victory should soon be on the card.

DROOPYS CALLA – Not a mark on the card of this fabulous prospect from the Droopys team.  A June 2024 bitch by Good Cody out of Droopys Party an unraced bitch out of Affane Beauty kept back specially for breeding.  Calla has been showcasing all the right signs to the shrewd Droopys Team and is a lady who will attract plenty of attention come sales day.  Trial will be of interest but no doubt at all that she’s a top prospect both for her forthcoming track career and brood prospects further ahead.

DROOPYS AZALEA – Unraced June 2024 bitch pup from the Droopys team this daughter of Ballyhimikin Jet and Droopys Saga is a real prospect for the remainder of the year and beyond.  Saga was a super winner of the Munster Oaks back in 2018 and since retiring has been producing open class offspring with regularity.  Azalea has a very bright future and looks a real nice prospect both for the track and in the longer term as a brood.

CROSSFIELD CONNI – This stunning bitch is a member of the hugely promising Dromana Bucko and Crossfield Feena litter of May 2024.  Massive potential both for the track and as a brood further down the line.

CROSSFIELD NIGEL – Full brother to Conni and also Alan and Toby who appear earlier on the sales catalogue.  Make no mistake about it this pup is rated in the highest of terms by his shrewd breeder and looks all set to enjoy a very successful track career here in the UK.  Will be eligible for all the major puppy competitions for quite some time to come.

MAD FOR WORK – October 2023 son of Ballymac Cashout and Work The Head who was a winner in open class over both four and six bends.  Good promise shown on debut when posting 2928 around Shelbourne Park and given his blood lines may well appreciate a step up in trip given time to mature.

SKIRK CARAMEL – This stunning looking blue fawn bitch is just a April 2024 whelp and has a very bright future ahead of her.  A daughter of King Sheeran out of Kiwi Kaye who raced in open class and has been producing high grade and open class offspring since retiring to the breeding paddocks.  Good promise being shown during schooling and interesting to see how that translates to the big galloping circuit of Hove.

MYSTRICAL BATMAN – Unraced October 2023 son of Grangeview Ten and Mystical Luna who was  strong running four bend open class performer on the track and is now a proven producer of open and competition class offspring.  Counting the likes of Unanimous Roxy who finished runner up in this years Cork Oaks Final and Short Grip a finalist in the Juvenile Derby of 2023 and more recently reaching the same stage of both the Irish Oaks and Cork Oaks in 2024.  The breeding is in place and schooling trials have been promising so every chance that this lad could go on to good things.

BALLYHIMIKIN BEN – If it’s a proven winner you’re after then look no further as this April 2023 son of Good Cody and Ballyhimikin Hun has won no less than 6 of his 14 career races to date.  A wide runner he competes in open class in Ireland with victories coming at Cork , Shelbourne Park and Limerick.  A really solid performer with his 2849 winning effort at Cork and his 3105 when winning over 575 yards at Shelbourne catching the eye.

RESERVES 

A) BEAMING ODYSSEY – Unraced June 2024 daughter of Doolin Duke and Beaming Becca a strong running four and six bend open class performer who is a full sister to the fabulous Bens Teddy finalist in the 2023 Irish Derby.

B) DEELISH HONEY –Unraced May 2024 daughter of Deerjet Sydney out of Deelish Belle.  Plenty to come from this totally unexposed youngster.

C) DEELISH JACK – Full brother to Deelish Honey and reports suggest he’s been moving nicely in schooling trials.  One to watch.

D) EMERS LIZZY –Lightly raced October 2023 daughter of Grangeview Ten and Emers Lottie who is already a race winner in Ireland coming from behind to win in 2930 around Cork.

E) RAPIDO RAUL –Promising unraced member of the July 2024 litter by Deerjet Sydney out of Scooter.  Very lightly schooled thus far and can only improve as the year progresses.

F) ROMANTIC RICHY (EX – MARLFIELD KLOPP) – September 2023 dog by Ballyhimikin Jet out of Marlfield Niamh who is a two time race winner in Ireland with an early pace always led victory on the card at Clonmel in 2929 and coming from behind at the same venue to win in 2903.

G) SWITHINS JIM –April 2023 son of Ballymac Cashout and Cloncunny Peecee who is a proven winner in open class in Ireland with some top class efforts to his name including a super 2966 over the 550 yard Derby trip at Shelbourne.  Ready made greyhound for the UK open scene.
