International Greyhound Services Limited Hove Sales Catalogue-Monday 15th September

International Greyhound Services Limited host their next Sales Auction at Hove next Monday Morning, with trials commencing at 10.30am

As usual there is a good mixture of greyhounds of all abilities, from race winners to complete novice puppies

There are 46 greyhounds set to trial, including four July 24 whelps

Now, as is often the case with these Sales Auctions, there will likely be plenty of attention paid to the four Greyhounds trialling who have made their way over the Irish Sea with the famed "Droopys" prefix, but that interest could increase here as two of those four July 24 whelps hail from the Droopys set up.

Trial 4 see's sisters Droopys Exotic and Droopys Dolphin lining up over the 500m distance and unsurprisingly, they haven't got a mark on their cards, so the siblings from the litter out of Droopys Addition x Droopys Alyssa literally fall into the "Could be anything" category.

At a month younger, Droopys Calla, a June 24 daughter of Good Cody x Droopys Party, lines up against Droopys Azalea, a daughter of Ballyhimikin Jet x Droopys Saga in Trial 19, with the pair also without a mark on their cards.

The other two July 24 whelps are a pair of brothers who line up in separate trials. Rapido Jimmy lines up in Trial 6, while Rapido Conti lines up in trial 13, with the sons of Deerjet Set x Scooter also going to the traps without a mark on their cards

Links Maverick, who used to be trained by Tom Heilbron, is now starting to make a name for himself as a stud dog, and Trial 10 see's litter sister and brothers Ashwood Ann and Mustang Maverick taking each other on. The April 24 siblings out of Links Maverick x Mustang Markle could prove to be useful recruits with improvement from efforts in Ireland likely, while another Links Maverick pup, June 24 youngster Havana Belle lines up in trial 14 without a mark on her card.

One of the top lots looks to be in Trial 22 where January 24 whelp Mustang Tory catches the eye based on a 28.77 trial recorded at Shelbourne Park on July 17th, with the daughter of Dromana Bucko x Tory Aria sure to be on the radar of many clockwatchers out there. 

Those looking for a race winner need look no further than trial 20 where Ballyhimikin Ben looks sure to be of interest. 28.59 and 30.04 wins over the 525 and 550 at Cork and Limerick standing out amongst those trialling, and this April 23 son of Good Cody x Ballyhimikin Hun will be expected to be producing one of the faster trials of the session.
