Joe's Monday Tips

Bank holiday open action at Star Pelaw and Nottingham this evening.

The highlight of the Star Pelaw card being the Star Sports 245/435 Dual Distance Trophy Final at 8.26pm. Trap five Tramora Goal has a tricky draw to work from but is capable of getting across early enough to lead and win. Nah Then Keefill looks set to go well being the sole wide seed with 5 railers inside her but Tramora Goal has the class to get across and win.

Other opens on the card include the Star Sports We Love Greyhound Racing Marathon at 8.09pm where Savana Clowns can get revenge on Intrepidity after last weeks three parts of a length defeat over C&D.

Bitzer Maloney can take the Star Sports Bank Holiday Sprint Trophy at 6.56pm and Tramora Meg should have too much for her rivals in the Star Sports #bettingpeople Standard Division One at 9.18pm.

At Nottingham, Mossrich Karen can continue her fine form when stepping back up in trip to win the Nottingham Greyhounds Puppy 480m at 8.19pm. Witton Williams heads back to Nottingham following two dominant displays at his home track Sunderland and he can win the Nottingham Greyhounds Maiden Sprint at 8.54pm with Dunelm Dragon looking to pick up a first UK victory by landing the Nottingham Greyhounds Maiden Standard at 9.11pm.

There are two heats of a 500m standard competition at 7.27 and 7.44pm. Carrick Fergie should win heat one following on from his impressive Sheffield display and his most recent 17.73 trial at tonight’s venue with Jetstream Breeze taking heat two from a good draw on the inside.
