Newcastle takes centre stage this evening with the final of the BGBF British Bred Maiden Derby Final at 9.11pm worth £7,500 to the winner.

Sirdar in trap five needs to avoid Fabulous Harmony on his inside who will move out from trap four Hurry Up Ivy and Blackhousewalton needing to do more to get competitive so I am with Blackhouse Zoom on the inside to make full use of a favourable draw.

Other opens on the card include the Arena Racing Company Puppy Final at 7.27pm where Brestbet Gymcrack winner Elusivenomore can continue his recent domination by getting the better of Greenwell Tyson and the Arena Racing Company Standard Final at 8.36pm can go to Naochra from trap three who posted a rapid 28.22 in heat success seven days ago.

There is a full open card at Hove this evening with two finals highlighting the Sussex venue.

The Coral 695 Stayers Trophy Final at 8.07pm can go to the charismatic Swift Jarvis in trap four. He was a good winner in the heats last week beating Burrows Diamond and history can repeat itself again.

The Coral 500 Maiden Trophy Final at 8.24pm can see last week's heat result reversed with Swords Hero getting the better of Untold Tether this evening. The traps have been reversed from last week with Swords Hero now in trap one and Untold Tether in three so with that Swords Hero can use the inside draw to his advantage.

There are three heats of the Coral Standard 500 Trophy. Heat one at 6.42pm can go to Icemans Girl who should be getting fitter and stronger with each run. The ever consistent Bluejig Baron can take heat two at 6.59pm and Avarua Flight can take heat three at 7.16pm.
