Joe's Tuesday Tips - 10 June 2025
There is open class greyhound racing at Swindon tonight where Joe Conneely has his best bets for the card.

Joe's Tuesday Tips
***8.24 Swindon - Southfield Poppy (5.5pts) 8/11
**7.16 Swindon - Cul Na Braithre (3pts) 11/10
*8.41 Swindon - Resonate (2pts) 5/4
Five open races at Swindon this evening with four over the standard distance and one over the 682m staying trip.
First up is the Blunsdon Maiden Standard at 6.59pm where trap one Ashway June looks to continue on from her recent run of form. She has been running well in open races before winning A1 last week beating Eagles Respect who re-opposes this evening. However Ashway June is drawn inside Eagles Respect and that can make things slightly easier for her to lead that rival again and if leading she should go on to win.
Next up is the Blunsdon Standard Division B that looks a match between trap two Cul Na Braithre and trap three Voyage Stanley. If Voyage Stanley could come away he would go a long way clear but his trapping is letting him down. Being a four dog race it should suit Cul Na Braithre and with nothing inside him in trap one, he should get a clear run and prove too strong for his rivals.
At 7.33pm we have the Blunsdon Standard Division A where trap two Danish Ruby can lead and make all. She was behind the classy Southfield Poppy last week but prior to that was in good form beating the likes of Southfield Duke who lines up again this evening. She has a nice turn of early foot and if coming away can clear Arthur Lobster on her inside to lead and win with Ballymac Loca staying on well to chase her home.
Southfield Poppy completed a five timer last week and she can make it a double hat-trick tonight in the Blunsdon Ladies at 8.24pm. She is in the groove at present so would be foolish to look past her in a race where if she traps on terms she will dominate early and win.
The final open race of the card is the Blunsdon Maiden Stayers over 682m at 8.41pm. Trap four Resonate has stepped up in trip well with two second place finishes to Antigua Kestrel at Oxford over 650m and finds herself in a race where she should have too much for her rivals if getting a clear run. There are question marks over the stamina of some of her rivals where Resonate looks like she will relish the extended trip and is the one to beat.
