Joe's Tuesday Tips
***8.24 Swindon - Newinn Bliss (3pts) EVS
**6.59 Swindon - Southfield Daisy (2pts) 11/4
*8.31 Central Park - King Luther (2pts) 13/8
A disappointing Monday sees us looking to bounce back with a bang this evening at Swindon and Central Park.
The nap of the evening is trap five Newinn Bliss in the only open race on the card, the Blunsdon Ladies at 8.24pm. An ultra consistent bitch who is 16 from 25 at the track she can improve that tally this evening with another dominant display. She has won her last four over C&D before a trip to Oxford where things did not work out for her but she can return to winning ways and make it five from five at Swindon. She is also seven from ten out of trap five so there is no reason why Newinn Bliss doesn’t trap, lead and make all this evening.
The next best of the evening is trap three Southfield Daisy in the A1 at Swindon at 6.59pm. A classy bitch who is one from one in the grade, Southfield Daisy has found herself in with the likes of Newinn Bliss and Romeo Empire over four bends at Swindon and Central Park so with two strong running dogs inside her, she can clear that pair on the run to the first bend if coming away on level terms. She has trialled well in recent weeks including a 28.44 run last time out over C&D so any improvement on that if gaining a clear run will see Southfield Daisy go close this evening.
The third bet of the evening is King Luther in the D3 at Central Park at 8.31pm. An extremely well bred October 2023 puppy out of Eden The Kid and Queen Jessie, he found plenty of trouble on debut when showing nice pace into the first bend and it won’t be long before King Luther is leaving D3 behind him and moving onto better things. He has a chance here to show his pace as long as he doesn’t fluff the start and although he has a bit of time to find, any natural progression can see him win.
