Joe's Tuesday Tips

***7.49 Swindon - Droopys Aladdin (4pts) 8/11
**7.33 Swindon - Ballymac Zeela (3pts) 15/8
*6.08 Swindon - Blackheath Ellen (2pts) 11/4

Three selections at Swindon this evening including in the two open races both over 476m, the Blundson Standard Divisions A and B.

The nap of the evening runs in the Blundson Standard Division A at 7.49pm where Derby quarter-finalist Droopys Aladdin should make no mistakes from the inside draw in trap one. He has not been over this evening's C&D since a trial back in January 2025 but being drawn along the fence should see him go round in front especially with trap two Unwanted Present coming without a look. If she doesn’t run the first bend cleanly that should pave the way for Droopys Aladdin to scoot clear down the far side. He is a really classy type for Michael Burton who should make no mistakes taking a drop in class on his first competitive start at the Wiltshire venue.

The next best is trap one Ballymac Zeela in the Blunsdon Standard Division B at 7.33pm. She is another who is drawn well on the inside who can use that to her advantage to go round in front of Voyage Stanley who is yet to put his trial runs and races together. As long as Ballymac Zeela can come away running she can lead into the bend and from there can hold on from the likes of Ballymac Loca and Baggios Emoski who will be staying on strongly from traps two and three. Hopefully, Voyage Stanley can be enough of a blocker for Ballymac Zeela to go clear of her rivals.

The third bet of the evening is trap two Blackheath Ellen in the first race of the evening, An A3 at 6.08pm. The form of her first UK start in the grade has been franked by Pulleen Dasher who has won two opens in a row at Nottingham over 500m with Blackheath Ellen second to that rival and 15/8F to beat him. She was beaten just over three lengths by Pulleen Dasher leading to the final bend and although she has gone nearly three weeks without a run, if she comes on for her UK debut run she should lead and if leading hopefully can hold on to pick up a victory at the second time of asking in the grade.
