Dunstall Park trainers double up in Monday opens at Colwick Park

Windebank newcomer catches the eye on Notts debut
DEELISH KOBE (6-1, pictured) struck for Dunstall Park trainer Robert Hall when winning the Arc Maiden Standard Trophy Final, the feature of Nottingham's mixed open and graded card on Monday.
The June 2024 son of Koblenz and Ballymac Aurora, having just his fourth start in the 500m decider came through powerfully on the run for home to score by half a length from leader Grovenor Ozzy (Bev Heaton) in 29.74.
On a good night for Dunstall Park trainers, Ruth Lambe also struck on the card with Flying Desire (6-1) winning division two of the Arc Standard Trophy over 500m in 28.68. The other division was won by Terry Munslow's local Swift Kipper (6-5F) in 29.52.
Kelli Windebank took the wraps of a nice newcomer in Gruszka who won the Arc Puppy 480 Trophy.
A 28.66 Shelbourne winner, the June 24 son of Tommy Shelby and Galadriel led early before winning in 28.59.
Lynn Cook's Shelt Hill Rosie (4-7F), narrowly beaten by Bockos Buster the week before, went one better when winning the Arc Maiden Dash Trophy in 14.88 for the 255m trip, while Esther Driver's Some Hiker (10-1) landed a surprise but deserved strong-running success in the Arc Winner Of One 480m Trophy in 28.50.
