Kodi continued his Nottingham love affair on Monday
There were six opens at Nottingham on Monday night with Barry Denby's The Other Kodi getting his head in front once more.

Denby's star wins again at Nottingham
Nottingham saw another win from The Other Kodi on Monday night. A draw wide in four was not an issues for Barry Denby's runner with his early pace seeing him clear those inside of him. This was a success over 500m to add to the recent sterling work over 480m, with some smart types behind him including No Better Feelin who should be better next time after a couple of months off.
The final open of the evening went to Aegean Song for Kelly Wilton. It's a big week for the kennel with two of the five finalists in the Coral 100 Champion Stakes at Romford on Friday and this was a great start for them. She had to dig deep to get on top late to add to the three wins that she has produced in her last four outings.
The other four-bend contest went to Simon Deakin's Aces Low. It was just his second career start, and having got a small knock in the opening strides, he paced up well to go around with Salacres Sahara, the pair continuing to battle all the way to the line. The winner still looks to have plenty to learn, so should be able to go on from here.
Over six bends there was a win for Tromora Jenny. Esther Driver's bitch lacks nothing for courage, tracking the leader around early, she pushed herself into a small gap at the third bend, and having made room for herself, she kicked away from them down the back straight.
There were two sprints on the night with the quicker of the pair being won by Lynn Cook's Nunos Nugget. It was a third win on the bounce for him and a third open race win overall. He got the better of a battle with Longacres Danny who perhaps was undone by the lack of a prior look, running off the second bend before getting a bump in the run-in. Take nothing away from the winner who's flying at present, his early pace putting him in the right spot to. pick up the win.
The surprise on the night came in a four-runner sprint where 1/7 favourite Bogger Bale was beaten to the punch by Jason Smith's veteran Kilbride Tractor. The winner has open race victories over four bends at Doncaster and six at Suffolk Downs to his credit, making just his second race start since March, and picking up a two-bend open for good measure.
