Meetings starting to be abandoned this week in line with the hot weather policy
Greyhound tracks are starting to call off meetings this week in line with the GBGB's hot weather policy, with temperatures on the rise again.

Hot weather taking a grip again
Central Park and Towcester have both cancelled their scheduled Thursday meetings this week due to excessive heat and in line with the GBGB's hot weather policy.
Central Park postponed Monday's meeting and Romford's card on Tuesday was curtailed after ten races as temperatures in the south soared again.
Towcester's decision followed Wednesday's card being curtailed after six races for the same reason.
Racing manager Danny Rayment said: "Thursday's afternoon meeting has been cancelled due to the extreme high temperatures forecast during the day.
"Friday's race meeting should hopefully go ahead as planned as it has been moved to the morning, but we will continue to monitor the situation in the next 24 hours."
