*** Shelt Hill Rosie - 8.19 Nottingham

** Magic Hands - 8.36 Nottingham

 Saqqara - 9.28 Nottingham

The shorter sprint trip will be in use for the 8.19 so quick breaking is going to be all important. Shelt Hill Rosie led up in a race over 305m last week that was won by Bockos Buster. She was run down in the final couple of strides by the multiple Category One finalist, with that level of form setting a clear standard in this field.

Magic Hands was the quickest in the heats of a maiden 500m competition last week and that was despite being very awkward leaving the traps and then being carried out wider than he wanted to be at the opening turn. He made up a huge amount of ground that day to get up in the shadow of the line. That was only his third run at this track and his 13th overall, so he is still learning and retains the potential for better to come.

Kelli Windebank has an unexposed one to round out the night at Nottingham in Saqqara. The May 24 whelp has only had five starts in her life, making the semi-final of a Clonmel unraced stake to kick things off, a competition that was won by Derby quarter-finalist Gaytime Clyde. Saqqara trialled well on her first look at Nottingham and looks well-berthed in a race where the one will move right and the four to the left to squeeze up the inside runners.
