Monday's Greyhound Racing Tips - 12 December 2026
There is some open racing at Oxford on Monday evening where we are looking for our three tips for the racing action.

Monday's Tips
*** Batter Away - 6.21 Oxford
** Gob Smacked - 6.04 Oxford
* Doc Susie - 6.56 Oxford
Batter Away has been beaten in A3 contests here of late but this is not a strong open contest and his experience of this track compared to his rivals can be the thing that sets him apart. He has three ex-Swindon runners in here who have all made a start at Oxford in inter tracks but they will need to step up considerably on those runs. His other rival is a pup who has shown solid sprint form here but her 450m trial was not at the level that is required here.
The opening contest on the card has an interesting one in Gob Smacked who should be well-suited to this distance. She was a trop-grade sprint winner at Swindon, though didn't get home over the stiff four bends there. The end of December saw her produce a decent first look around here and it probably wouldn't take much improvement on that to have this contest in the bag.
It's easy to think that there is going to be better to come from Doc Susie once she starts to trap a little bit better. She has been beaten in a pair of A2 contests so far in her career but there has been plenty of promise in those efforts and this looks a little bit more like a reasonable assignment for her, despite it now being an open.
