There are some interesting open races this evening at Nottingham where we have found three selections that we are fans of on the card.
Monday's Tips
*** Hillend Millie - 7.44 Nottingham
** Buster Eight - 8.36 Nottingham
* Skyfall Mini - 8.01 Nottingham
Quickest of the winners in the 480m heats of the Dual Distance trophy last Monday night at Nottingham was Hillend Millie. She is a progressive youngster who had come home in front in five of her last six starts. None of those runs have come from the red jacket which is a little bit of a doubt but she is the one who still has the potential for better to come.
It is a Nottingham debut for Buster Eight in the first division of a maiden sprint but he is very interesting on both his trial times since arriving at Yarmouth and his efforts in Ireland. Key amongst them is a 17.51 run at Cork which was good enough for a tie of 10th best of the year. Ahead of him were the likes of Born Racer and Road Exile and that level of form should be far too hot to handle.
Skyfall Mini is another who might not be ideally suited to the red jacket but she is also in excellent form and the pair directly to her right lack a recent look here so they should give her plenty of room to take more of a mid to rails course at the opening turn. Already an open race winner over both 480m and 500m here, she can add to her solid record.
