Monday's Greyhound Racing Tips - 19 January 2026
We head to Nottingham on Monday evening where there are four open races from which to pick out our three selections for the day.
Monday's Tips
*** Da Don - 9.11 Nottingham
** Farneys Tearaway - 8.19 Nottingham
* Bockos Frankel - 7.44 Nottingham
There are two short prices in the sprints this evening at Nottingham. Bockos Buster in the 8.54 will be unbackable as a single for most punters but Da Don will at least have a touch more meat on the bone, for all that he will still be odds on. The selection was behind Bockos Buster last week when he didn't trap as well as he can. Kept apart in separate heats tonight can see them both win and set up another clash in a week.
Farneys Tearaway was behind Skeard Daisy May when they met over 480m at this track before Christmas. It was the first look at Nottingham for the Kevin Boon-trained runner and he flat out failed to handle the opening bend. He has had a trial back here since, which again didn't go completely smoothly but he is learning and has the potential to improve still further, with the extra 20m tonight a plus.
Although Bockos Frankel was beaten by Rossa Vita in their heat last week, he can turn things around when it matters the most in the Category Three final this evening. He went into plenty of notebooks on his UK debut at Suffolk Downs, doing plenty wrong but still bolting up. He did more right last week but Nottingham is not an easy track to run first time, so he should improve a few lengths for the experience.
