Monday's Greyhound Racing Tips - 2 March 2026
It is the opening round of the BGBF British Breeders Stakes at Nottingham this evening with four heats seeing the best of British strut their stuff at Colwick Park.

Monday's Tips
*** Romeo Tomcat - 9.28 Nottingham
** Romeo Empire - 9.11 Nottingham
* No Better Feelin - 8.19 Nottingham
Three of the heats of the BGBF British Breeders Stakes are going to have very short-priced favourites for Patrick Janssens and on paper, all three should be coming home in front. This is the first competitive action for Romeo Tomcat since November when finishing fourth in the final of the Coral Gold Collar. His trials as a warm up for this suggest that he is returning right at the top of his game and is ready to roll.
Romeo Empire has been running over six bends for a while, with this just his second race over four bends since the quarter-final of the Derby at the end of May last year. He absolutely bolted up in the other one of those, at Doncaster over 483m in a top 15 time of last year. His all-around speed should see him far too good for these.
There is plenty of solid local form on offer in the 8.19 this evening where Esther Driver's No Better Feelin can get his head back in front now that he returns to home soil. He has won his last four starts at this venue and should be able to have this in safe keeping by the time that they turn for home.
