Monday's Tips
*** Mossrich Sally - 9.11 Nottingham
** Swift Kipper - 8.36 Nottingham
* Droopys Melon - 8.01 Nottingham
A step up in trip has been a big plus for Mossrich Sally, winning two of her three starts over six bends. One of those was over this track and trip, though the other was more impressive, heading to Sheffield to beat a 2025 St Leger finalist in Fabulous Heka. To be fair to that bitch, she is not quite at her peak right not but that form still stands out a mile in this field.
The 8.36 is a fascinating contest but this track has not suited Zappa quite as well as Towcester so far and red might not be his colour. As such, Swift Kipper, who has plenty of smart runs at her home track gets the nod. She has won three of her last four starts here and her win late in March was the sixth quickest of the year over this trip, so she sets a decent standard.
Droopys Melon was a smart type in Ireland and has shown promise in trials over here at both Central Park and Monmore. He looked lost on his English race debut which came over two bends at this track, running the turns poorly, but showing plenty of straight line speed. He should be more than capable of improving on that bend running and four bends will suit better than two.
