Monday's Greyhound Racing Tips - 22 December 2025
It's the final of the Arena Racing Company National Sprint this evening at Nottingham with a support card that contains a further five opens for us to look over for tips.
Monday's Tips
*** Goldcash Warrior - 7.27 Nottingham
** Shadow Storm - 9.11 Nottingham
* Hopes Ompaloompa - 9.46 Nottingham
If his first two starts for the Nathan Hunt kennel are a good guide to the future, the team have a very smart one on their hands in Goldfish Warrior. He looks like he will be a short price again here in this field having been sent off at odds on in both of his starts so far but he can justify the price with another fluent success.
It is an excellent renewal of the Arena Racing Company National Sprint final, and the inside berth can swing things the way of Richard Rees's Shadow Storm. He has marked himself down as one of the quickest dogs in the country this year and he still has very limited miles on the clock. There should be a touch more to come from him and that makes for a scary proposition for his rivals.
Another dog to have had a great 2025 is Hopes Ompaloompa. This track in particular has been very good to him and he has a strong record in the red jacket to defend here. He takes on Oaks heroine Butlers Lane but the level of form that she has shown at Dunstall Park is a fair bit ahead of what she has shown anywhere else which swings the vote the way of Esther Driver's railer.
