Scooby The Boss has been flying around Nottingham in recent runs, beating tonight's two main market dangers over the last couple of weeks. He is going to have to be on his toes at lid rise with plenty of pace inside him to clear but he has been performing at a level that makes him very hard to oppose.
The red jacket suits Mossrich Karen well, winning four of her seven starts at this track when drawn on the inside. She has the early gears to take control of the position on the rails again here, which should be enough to make her the one they have to beat. My Lennie is a solid performer but he has not been at his best in trials at Dunstall Park nor a race at Doncaster and the orange jacket wouldn't suit as well as stripes.
Northern Flat winner Naochra makes his racing debut at Nottingham tonight after a promising first look in a trial a week back. He has enjoyed a career year, unlucky to miss out on a spot in the Gold Cup final at Monmore by a neck before making his way into the final of the Yorkshire Derby. He looks the type who is going to enjoy the challenge that Nottingham offers and he can get to the front late on.
