*** No Better Feelin - 7.27 Nottingham

** Grouchos Gregor - 8.19 Nottingham

* Pro Parker - 7.24 Harlow

There are some interesting opens at Nottingham tonight, where Colwick Park sees the return of No Better Feelin. Despite being a Derby semi-finalist, this is the track where he has arguably shown his best form. His main rival is the polar opposite, yet to convince that he really enjoys these surroundings which firmly swings the vote in the favour of the Esther Driver-trained selection.

Grouchos Gregor was behind Good Teddy in a sprint trial last week but he was on top as they got to the pickup and the move up to 500m is going to suit him a lot more of the pair, who clash again at 8.19. He was a finalist in the Shelbourne 600 and in the Connaught Derby at Galway in his time in Ireland, and looks to be a very smart recruit for the Kelly Wilton kennel.

On the heats from last week, there is plenty on the plate of Pro Parker if he is to reverse the form with Moaning Mai Tai.  This is a strange makeup of a race, however, with two middles and four wides, so it's going to be hugely dependant on the break and the movement of each dog in the opening strides. The selection would rather be a hair wider, trap three rather than two, but he will be able to move off and he was the winner of this competition in 2024, and can repeat the dose.
