Monday's Greyhound Racing Tips - 5 October 2026
Open race action on Monday night comes from Nottingham where there are five open races on the 12-race card.
Monday's Tips
*** The Other Kodi - 9.28 Nottingham
** Nunos Nugget - 8.36 Nottingham
* Frederico - 9.11 Nottingham
The Other Kodi is a tough dog to beat at Nottingham, the winner of 10 of his 14 starts here, including a perfect 5/5 over this distance of 480m. His most recent defeat came when chasing home Good Acclaim in a sprint race, and there is no disgrace in that given he is one of the top sprinters in the country. This trip suits him much better and he can show that again here.
One of the better drawn dogs on the night is Nunos Nugget with a left mover directly inside him going to the rails and a vacant trap to his outside. He does not have a strong record when it comes to open racing but this might not take a huge amount of winning unless Favourite Rogue returns to the pick of his form.
Esther Driver has two strong chances to take out the 480m contest at 9.11 with marginal preference for Frederico. Skyfall Khan has taken on the stronger opposition of late, making the semis of the Arc Birmingham Cup but on their home track, it is the selection who boasts the better form. He has some flying splits over 500m and the shorter run to the bend should see him outspeed them and go clear.
