There are only two open races this evening at Nottingham but we have a selection in both as well as in one of the graded races on their card.

*** No Better Feelin - 8.19 Nottingham

* Lurriga Lassie - 8.54 Nottingham
It is always hard to oppose No Better Feelin when he is in action at Nottingham, especially after his demolition job in the heats of this dual distance competition last week. He boasts an enviable winning record at his home track and with his main danger in Swift Kipper arguably being better suited by the 480m of the heats rather than the 500m of the final, he should have this in safekeeping before they turn for home.
An interesting runner for Stuart Tighe this evening is Highmeadow Harry. He was a very quick winner of an A4 at Star Pelaw on his UK debut, quickly sent off in pursuit of open race glory this evening. He trialled well in his first look at Nottingham last week and if he can repeat that under race conditions, he can add another success to his cv.
There are only two opens on the card, so our third bet comes from the graded action in the shape of Lurriga Lassie. She produced fair times when trained in Ireland, and ones that suggest she should be going much quicker than she has done so far at Nottingham. She was noted getting hampered at the opening bend on her last start before staying on strongly. There is a sub 31-second run in her tonight if she puts it all together.
