Monday's Tips

*** No Better Feelin - 7.27 Nottingham

** Good Acclaim - 8.01 Nottingham

* Favourite Rogue - 9.11 Nottingham

Nottingham is a track that suits No Better Feelin really well. He has won nine of his 17 starts here, including five of seven when he has been clad in the white jacket of three as he is tonight. He has five straight wins over this 500m trip here coming in on a run that stretches back to the end of last March. The Derby semi-finalist from last year can extend that sequence this evening.

Good Acclaim has made a flying start to his career and Stuart Tighe's charge can continue to impress. He has a little way to go to be held alongside the very top sprinters in the country but the times in the book and the style of his wins suggest that he is not going to be all that far off when all is said and done.

It could be a great evening for Tighe as his Favourite Rogue looks well set to give him a sprint double. He has chased home his kennelmate the last three times that he has seen action (two races and a trial), so he will be delighted to be in a different contest this evening. He clocked 18.00 in his only prior start here and his winning form at Star Pelaw suggests that he is capable of a little quicker on his second look.
