NEWINN OSCAR looks well-drawn in T1 and with a level break the Nathan Hunt-trained railer can take the Arc Four Bend Dual Distance final at 8.19 over the four-bend 500-metre trip at Nottingham. Last week in the heats over the 480-metre trip, Oscar turned with the pace and hit the front at halfway and then powered clear. Tonight, from a plot draw on the rails he can hold his pitch into the corner and hit the back straight on the bunny. 

At 8.54 Blllis Hoffa looks a play from T1 in the Nottingham-Greyhounds Standard open race. Dunstall Park raider Billis Hoffa has been lightly raced in recent months with just two competitive runs since early July and would have come on plenty for last week’s outing over the 480-metre trip. Tonight, if Billis Hoffa brings his trapping boots, he can lead round and make all. Droopys Extragud is a class act and rates as the danger from T2.

The third and final selection this evening is MOSSRICH KAREN (T1) in the Nottingham-Greyhounds Sprint open race at 9.28. The Ester Driver-trained railer looks well-drawn in T1 to lead round and once on the bunny it’ll take a good one to back run her. The key to the race as ever over the sprint trip is the break, trap well and its race on.
