Monmore prepared for upcoming busy period on and off the track
Monmore is widely recognised across the industy as being one of the busiest and well run tracks in the country, and rightly so. The Wolverhampton track is set to enter one of their most busiest periods of the year on and off the track with two category one competitions, The Ladbrokes Gold Cup and The Ladbrokes Summer Stayers Classic set to commence in early August, with After Racing Party Nights and Non-racing Friday Tribute Nights running throughout July to December
Joe Edwards, Communications Manager at Monmore said "We're excited for what's to come throughout the rest of the year and we’ve got lots of events for racegoers to look forward to"
"The Ladbrokes Gold Cup and Summer Stayers Classic competitions get underway in early August, with finals night always making for a thrilling occasion".
"Our themed Party Pack nights, where we have a DJ playing until midnight after the racing, continue to be a big success. Our Ibiza Classics night this past weekend, for example, was a sell-out with 280 tickets purchased for our over-18s downstairs room".
"There's lots more of those coming up while we also have non-racing Friday tribute nights taking place. They tend to attract 100-150 customers and people who perhaps wouldn't usually come here, expanding our reach".
"We've been quite busy trying to get the message out on what we have to offer with a recent Royal Mail leaflet drop going to more than 25,000 addresses in the area, so fingers crossed, we can have some nice crowds in"
"We'd like to think that once people are aware of us and make a visit, they'll keep coming back."
