Monmore Stadium visited the Freshers Fayre at University of Wolverhampton with "Gizmo" the star attraction
Communications Manager at Monmore, Joe Edwards, attended the Freshers Fayre at University of Wolverhampton on Tuesday to promote the Stadium to future race-goers

Joe Edwards, communications manager at Monmore, said "I had the pleasure of attending the Freshers' Fayre at the main Wolverhampton campus along with volunteers from Greyhound Trust Wolverhampton and retired greyhound, Gizmo"
"He raced here at Monmore as Adams Anvil for Alan Jenkins and now lives with Trust volunteer, Jayne who was there with us as well"
"Gizmo really took it all in his stride as we chatted to students about both racing here at Monmore and greyhounds being available to adopt as pets from the Trust"
"The feedback we got was great. Gizmo was the centre of attention as we dished out flyers offering free admission here at Monmore and GT merchandise - we were all out of pens by the end of the day"
"It's the second student fayre I've done, and this was one was really busy, so hopefully we've managed to generate some interest"
"We're hosting a Student Night here next Thursday which the Uni have advertised themselves and given students free entry and a free drink.
Even if it's just a few people who end up knowing about us that weren't aware before, that's a win."
